F+B Runout Paddle Review — A New Brand Enters the Pickleball Scene

Every once in a while, a brand pops up in the pickleball world that makes you stop and pay attention, and F+B Sports is one of those brands. They’re new to the market, but their first paddle release, the Runout, already feels like it belongs among the big names.

The Runout Hybrid paddle is a 12.7mm core with a static weight of 8.2oz, a swing weight of 115.7, and a twist weight of 6.4. It’s made with a T700 raw carbon fiber face, giving it that gritty surface that players love for top-tier spin and ball control.
It features a polypropylene honeycomb core, a foam-injected perimeter for added stability, and a 5.5" handle that accommodates both one- and two-handed backhands comfortably.

This hybrid shape offers a nice balance of reach, control, and maneuverability, sitting right between a traditional and elongated design.
Weight distribution feels dialed-in, stable yet quick through the air, and the foam perimeter helps expand the sweet spot and reduce harshness.

On-Court Performance

My first impression? The Runout Hybrid feels stiff and responsive, while being faster in the hands than the numbers reflect.

It’s stiff but not as harsh as I’d expect and it definitely has some good pop to it. It has accessible power that works for a wide range of players, and lands somewhere between the all court and power category of paddles.

For a first release, this thing feels surprisingly polished. You can tell the design was well thought-out and not rushed to market.
